THE BIG BANG AND THE UNIVERSE REVEALED IN THE NOBLE QURAN
What is the big bang?
The Big Bang event is a physical theory that describes how the universe expanded from an initial state of high density and temperature.
The universe began, scientists believe, with every speck of its energy jammed into a very tiny point. This extremely dense point exploded with unimaginable force, creating matter and propelling it outward to make the billions of galaxies of our vast universe. Astrophysicists dubbed this titanic explosion the Big Bang.
The Expansion of the universe
The expansion of the universe is the increase in distance between any two given gravitationally unbound parts of the observable universe with time.

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? Qur'an 21:30
The heavens, We have built them with power. And verily, We are expanding it" Qur'an 51:47
It is He Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; all the celestial bodies swim along, each in its rounded course Qur'an 21:33
Allah turned to the sky, and it had been as smoke. He said to it and to the earth: 'Come together, willingly or unwillingly.' They said: 'We come together in willing obedience. Qur' an 41:11
Thus the elements and what was to emerge as the planets and stars commenced to cool, come together, and form into shape, following the natural laws that Allah established in the universe
